Validation Sessions

Design session/demos where Epic analyst team presents recommended set of workflows. Decisions are tracked ona Stoplight Evaluation sheet (SLE). SMEs complete the SLEs and discuss points of contention in more detail.

Workflow Walkthrough [WFWT]

Validation session that occurs after the build phase where application teams present workflows to obtain final design validation from operational leads. Goal is to identify design issues prior to testing.

Integrated Testing

Phase of testing after unit testing, but prior to training, where the project team completes test scripts that span multiple applications and interfaces. The goal is to run test scripts from end-to-end.

Dress Rehearsal

A practice run of critical workflows where end-users run test scripts to identify any last minute issues. Project team organizes and manages the outstanding follow-up tasks.

Customer Happiness Manager

Epic staff that monitors and ensures customer satisfaction with the Epic implementation at the executive level.

Implementation Services [IS]

Epic project management and workflow design staff responsible for assisting customer project teams with an Epic implementation.

Principle Trainer

Lead trainer for a particular application.

Credentialed Trainer

Epic trainers hired close to go-live. Receive credentialed training from Principal Trainers to offer training classes on specific workflows that incorporate large volumes of end-users.
